Michelle Montgomery

Hopping from small town to town, Michelle has lived in almost every region of BC and holds a special affinity with the water and the mountains. She grew up on the BC coast then spent years in the interior. Living in the East Kootenays for a few years she finished a diploma in Recreation Management and spent time working at resorts in the Rockies helping visitors explore the area.

This is her second year at Moresby Explorers as she liked Sandspit so much she has come back to work in the office for a second year. She finished her degree in Tourism Management this past winter, in 2010, and has plans to work at different seasonal jobs to explore the country and the world.

Her plans for the future include travelling the world, but first of all experiencing Canada, so this fall she is travelling across Canada and hopefully finding somewhere to spend the winter.

Never one to miss out on a campfire, in her spare time she also likes to hike, bike, horseback ride and read. In Sandspit she is commonly found walking down the road, barefoot, reading a book.
