About the Queen Charlotte Islands

The Queen Charlotte Islands, historically known by the native Haida as Haida Gwaii (People's Islands), are located about 150 kilometers off the West Coast of British Columbia. Composed of over 150 islands, they are rich in marine life, known for their bird and whale migrations, and support an abundance of sealions, dolphins, seals, bald eagles and the biggest black bears in the world.

Getting to the Queen Charlotte Islands

There is one airline that flies into Sandspit from Vancouver, Air Canada. Pacific Coastal Airlines flies into Masset. You can also travel with BC Ferries from Prince Rupert or Port Hardy.
