Hannah Holt

Born in Canada, Hannah spent most of her youth in Australia. She came to Haida Gwaii to visit some relatives and ended up staying. She has spent time as the cook at our floating lodge, but is now mainly based in Sandspit at the office where she does food prep for the float and prepares lunches for the tours.

She has an interest in local farming and has convinced the other staff members to start raising animals in Sandspit. There are now ducks and pigs. The pigs also appreciate Hannah's cooking and the tour leftovers. So don't feel bad if you don't finish your entire lunch, the pigs will enjoy it.

Hannah is looking into going back to school next year in Kamloops to study meat processing. She has passed off the float camp cook to her brother Jesse, who also just came for a visit last year, but has decided to stay for this season.
