Moresby Explorers' Floating Lodge

Nestled in a small remote cove and accessible only by boat or plane, our floating lodge is the perfect place for us to overnight on our boat tours. The lodge also makes a great base for retreats, workshops and intimate family gatherings.

The lodge has 8 guest bedrooms, 5 with "double under and single over" bunk beds, one with a queen and 2 with 2 singles. There is a large sitting area with a 14 person dining room table, gas fireplace, full kitchen, covered deck and a great view. There is hot and cold water and a bathroom with a flush toilet, but there is no shower (but don't worry, the hotsprings are only 45 minutes away!).

Location: A small cove in Crescent Inlet on the northern border of Gwaii Haanas. It takes just over an hour to get there in one of our speed boats from Moresby Camp. Here is a link to a google map with the location (you have to hit the search button, the coordinates are already in the search box).

Prices: In the summer we use the lodge for our over night tours. If people want to stay there for a few days who are not on one of our tours and we can fit it into the schedule, we charge $150/night/person based on double occupancy including full meals. If you want to use the facility in the off-season, please give us a call or send us an email so we can create a package, possibly including transportation and a cook, that works for you.
