Flavien Mabit

Originally from France, Flavien has spent the last few years in Canada. He has a Masters Degree in Business Management, a European Masters in Economics and a 2-Year University Diploma in French and Anglo-Saxon Law. He is a fluent speaker of both French and English.

He has spent years in sales, selling everything from outdoor equipment to office supplies to tourism products. Along with his sales experience, Flavien also has tourism experience from working in a Hostel.

He decided to come to Haida Gwaii to explore another corner of the country he lives in. He enjoys the seasonal nature of the company so that he can spend the rest of his year travelling, studying and working on other projects.

Flavien is a world traveller who enjoys meeting and interacting with others. Even when he isn't working, he volunteers as a WWOOFER to meet new people and gain experience. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, and has travelled through Australia for two years on bike covering more than 16,000 kms. In his spare time in Sandspit, Flavien can be found on the trap shooting range aiming at clay pigeons or hitting balls into the water at the local golf course.
