Erin Pedersen

Erin may have grown up in the suburbs of Vancouver, but her heart lies with small towns and the outdoors. From an early age she discovered an affinity for the sea, having lived near the ocean her entire life - something that continues to this day. She initially studied Global Stewardship at Capilano College in Vancouver, but her love for the outdoors soon drove her to enrol in an outdoor adventure program at Thompson Rivers University, completing her diploma in the spring of 2012.

Erin began working as a guide for Moresby Explorers in 2011, after having fallen in love with Haida Gwaii a previous trip - partly due to a tour she went on with the company in a previous year. Her exuberance for life, nature, and the water shines through in her personality, making her an enthusiastic and passionate guide.

When not guiding, Erin enjoys a myriad number of activities including kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, reading, and geeking out. She also has a keen interest in travel, and plans to travel the world when the time presents itself.
