Dive Tours

We are considering offering dive tours in and around the Proposed Gwaii Haanas National Marine Conservation Area Reserve. Our tours would operate in the early season before the water warms up and the algae blooms reduce visibility. Divers wishing to join our tours should be licenced and experienced cold water divers with their own gear. We will provide weight belts and tanks, but you have to bring the rest.

Accommodations will be at our floating lodge in Crescent Inlet right in the heart of this area; all meals will be provided. As well as underwater exploration, divers will have a chance to experience ancient Haida village sites with standing totem poles, large marine wildlife, and the natural thermal pools at Hotspring Island.

Our dive boat is a Zodiac Hurricane 733, the standard Coast Guard search and rescue boat. This boat is made to withstand all weather conditions in the safest and most comfortable manner.

We are currently trying to judge the amount of interest in diving in the Gwaii Haanas area so if you think you would be interested in such a service, please let us know.
