Boat Tours
Unscheduled overnight tours require a minimum of four guests, daytrips require a minimum of five. Once we have confirmed your tour, we will go regardless of 'no shows' or sudden cancellations. We do not have control of the weather and rare mechanical problems which may develop, in which case there may be brief delays while we substitute boats or wait out the weather. If at any time you feel dissatisfied, please let us know immediately. Don't hesitate to check with us for child or family rates. If you have any food allergies or diet concerns, be sure to tell us well in advance. We provide all bedding, meals, accomodations, and transport between Sandspit and Moresby Camp. All tours start with a one hour drive from Sandspit to Moresby Camp with a stop to pick up guests who are coming across from Graham Island on the ferry. Moresby Camp is an abandoned logging site that is being redeveloped into a recreaction site, with camping facilities and boat launch. *Note* If you are staying on Graham Island on the night before your tour, you will most likley have to catch the 7:30 ferry from Skidegate Landing to Alliford Bay where we will pick you up. If you have a vehicle and are planning to go back to Graham Island after the tour, we suggest leaving your car in Skidegate Landing and walking on the ferry to save on ferry costs. Take a virtual 4-day tour! (1.8MB PDF) Warning, may spoil tour surprises. Just remember that this will not be your tour, this is just 'a' tour. Because of weather, tides, and unscheduled wildlife, all our tours are different. All prices are in Canadian dollars and include parks fees as well as applicable taxes. Click here for exchange rates. Please NoteOn the 2.5-day and 4-day tours, weather and availability permitting, we will stay a night at the Rose Harbour Guest House near the south end of the park. This makes for a more relaxed pace for our visit to Ninstints. All accommodation is basic and rustic, but comfortable. Rose Harbour uses an out house toilet. Our float camp has a regular washroom. We have limited dry storage under the boat seats (about 22cm or 10in wide) and ask that guests travel with minimal luggage in soft baggage. Parks Canada user fees and orientationUser fees are $19.80 per day for trips up to 5 days. A seasons pass is $118.85. This fee is collected by your tour company for Parks Canada. All our tours include the parks fee in the price. Moresby Explorers Ltd. will provide the mandatory orientation required by Parks Canada for their tour guests. Visitors can, if they wish, attend the Parks Canada sessions at the heritage center in Skidegate. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
